Wildcroft Barock Pinto Friesians

We are a premier breeding stud dedicated to producing exceptional sport horses from unique and striking bloodlines. Our mission is to promote horses carrying 37.5% Friesian blood—an innovative crossbreed renowned for its athletic ability, intelligence, versatility, and eye-catching patterns and colours.

Our breeding program is built on quality and integrity, pairing carefully selected, proven stallions with outstanding Barock Pinto and Friesian mares. We focus on preserving each breed’s distinctive character while enhancing soundness, movement, trainability, and long-term health. The result is offspring that are not only visually stunning but also talented, willing, and genetically strong.

Following the passing of our much-loved stallion, Wildcroft Gradus BP, in May, we are honoured to welcome a new chapter through our collaboration with Majestic Spanish Horses. The PRE stallion Picaro now joins our program as our main sire. With Picaro, we aim to produce exciting new crosses, including buckskin foals from our Friesian mares, as well as cremello, perlino, and paint palomino offspring from selected mares at stud.

  • Wildcroft has a reputation for breeding top-quality purebred Friesian foals in the past. With over 50% of its offspring receiving star awards and high-rated mares listed among the top performers by KFPS, Royal Studbook Friesian Horses. We remain committed to producing exceptional Barock Pinto Friesian foals all registered with the Barock Pinto Studbook BPS in the Netherlands. To achieve this, we will continue to use our highly soughed Friesian mares and Pinto mare and Barock Pinto- Friesian stallions, Wildcroft Gradus and Fresco Tobiano, Age B and Tsjolke fan Wildcroft.   • At our breeding facility, we exclusively utilize artificial insemination techniques and provide frozen semen from two stallions, namely Fresco Tobiano (Barock Pinto) and Wildcroft Tsjolke (Friesian purebred). We also offer fresh and chilled semen from our Barock Pinto homozygous stallion, Wildcroft Gradus, as well as fresh semen from our purebred Friesian stallion, Age B.
